The Challenge: UHC has witnessed firsthand what the effects of addiction and a mental health disorder can do to an individual's life, body, criminal record, and especially their families. We believe in cause and effect. As drugs and alcohol abuse increase and cause more crime, more addiction, more behavioral health fall out, more devastation, and more broken families, the need for our services increases daily.
The Solution: UHC and Krossroads Integrative Health work together to meet the high demand of New Mexico’s individuals by offering housing, education, career development opportunities, specialists, medical physicians, psychiatry, therapists, intensive outpatient programs, certified peer support workers, and daily comprehensive community support services. These benefits help reduce the recidivism rate, end homelessness, and heal the addicted.
